Important News:  There will be a system update: ACORN, ROSI Alumni Transcripts, Degree Explorer, MyRes & VBRS will be unavailable from November 16 at 4 p.m. to November 19 at 8 a.m. (EST). U of T is upgrading ACORN to improve performance for faster registration.  As one of the largest university-wide initiatives, the project has involved converting 2 million lines of code to Java and replacing a mainframe server with Linux blade servers. The new platform will ensure that U of T stays at the forefront of technological innovation.  Thank you for your patience as we transition to the new system.

Rotating Postal Strike:

In the event a rotating postal strike is in place, the University of Toronto Transcript Centre (UTTC) will mail transcript orders submitted with the MAIL option via Canada Post.

Transcripts sent by Campus Mail addressed to Faculties/Divisions within the University of Toronto will continue to be delivered without interruption.

The information below outlines alternate methods of ordering and delivering transcripts during a strike.

Q) What alternate delivery options are available during the postal strike?

Currently, there are two other methods to order transcripts.

  1. Courier Service – The UTTC uses FedEx couriers. Students can order and pay online directly through or by e-mail by submitting a transcript order form found at or in person at UTTC.

  1. Pick-up – Also ordered online through, by e-mail, submit a transcript order form found at this site or in person at UTTC

Requests can be made to pick up transcript/s in person at any of our three campuses. Written permission from the student is required if someone other than the student is picking up a transcript. Complete the third party pick authorization found at this site

Q) What about orders sent by mail?

If you choose to send your transcript via Canada Post/mail, instead of one of the options above, your transcript order will be processed and mailed out.   It’s up to students to take the chance by selecting mail as the method of delivery and hope delays are not too long.  If you require delivery in a timely manner, we recommended using Option #1, Courier Service, during the postal strike.  Information about the status of mail in the Canada Post system during the strike may be found on the Canada Post website.

Q) For any mail orders already placed, can they be changed to a different delivery method?

If the transcript/s has not printed yet, we can change the method of delivery to pick up or Courier, if the transcript/s printed/processed not released to the Canada Post Box it can be held for pick up at any of the three campuses (see Delivery Pick-Up Options on this site)
